The Brigantine Baseball and Softball Association is currently holding its first online registrations at brigantinebaseball.com.

The organization will also be holding in-person registration  11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at the Brigantine Community Center.

Online registration will be accepted through Saturday, March 3. 

"We are really excited about the coming season with some exciting changes, in addition to the online signups," spokesman Chris Tate said in a news release.

Baseball is adding a Minor Leagues 10U division that will be kid pitch and allow 9- and 10-year old players to gain more playing time at an appropriate level, as well as have a better chance to develop as a pitcher, he said.

The association also offers T-ball for ages 5-6, machine pitch baseball for ages 7-8, Little League baseball for ages 11-12, and Babe Ruth for ages 13-15.

Softball is offered in three age groups, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-16.
