Approximately 1,273 properties were honored with a property award for making Brigantine look beautiful this summer. Thanks to the volunteers who spent hours walking the neighborhoods looking for properties who earned the award. The Brigantine Garden Club had a meeting on Monday, Aug. 7. Our guest speaker was George Butrus.
Because of Labor Day, our next general meeting will be 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Community Center Senior dining room. Our guest speaker will be Joe Neidinger, proprietor of The Secret Garden Florist in Linwood. He will be demonstrating flower arranging. His arrangement will be used as a door prize. All are welcome; you do not have to be a member to attend. Join us for this interesting presentation.
Nominations will be accepted for the one open two-year board member position that is available. Voting will be at the Oct. meeting.
