The Brigantine Beach Cultural Arts Commission is very pleased with the response of the businesses and organizations who participated in the recent Welcome to Fall Scarecrow Competition last month. The winners were determined by the votes of the public and then tallied by members of the BBCAC.

Last week the scarecrows getting the most votes were announced at the City Council meeting. The first-place winner was the library, the second-place winner was Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, and the third-place winner was the Garden Club.

A very special thank you to all the organizations and businesses for your enthusiastic participation in this fun-filled event. It was exciting to take a scarecrow tour and see the different and creative themes.
