Mayor Phil Guenther will install the 2018 officers of the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, Jan. 16 at Andre's Wine Bar & Grill, 1312 Brigantine Ave.

There will be a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., and the chamber meeting and installation ceremony will start around 6:15 p.m.

All business owners and chamber members are welcome to attend. Admission is free, and there will be a cash bar.

The officers are President Angela Reynolds of Weichert Brigantine Realty, Vice President Ken Schaffer of WIBG 94.3 FM radio, Secretary Matt Cusamano of Cusamano Builders and Treasurer Leah Monroe-Holcombe of Island Items. Also to be installed are board member Lori Tarud of TD Bank and alternate board member Kim Schenck of Insurance Agencies Inc.

The chamber board meets monthly, and a general membership meeting schedule will be supplied to all attendees on Tuesday. For updates see and click the meetings tab.

Events the chamber has planned for 2018 include an Easter egg hunt and spring celebration in April, the annual Island Luau extravaganza in July, movies on the beach throughout the summer, and Eagles football tailgate parties in the fall.
