It all started on Friday and trolling mojo's was all you needed. As most boaters were heading north to fish off the infamous red tower, Greg and Eric decided to hang around Brigantine on Friday.

In just over two hours they had caught at least ten bass and were releasing 30-pounders. Zach Wojnar, Jimmy Fowler, grandson Lucas and Chris Picciotti of the Reaper were fishing off the red tower on Friday and picked up 11 bass.

On the way home they heard of the bite off Brigantine and Zach decided to try his luck at plugging. On his first cast a 33-inch striper nailed his popper.

Jimmy Fowler's grandson Lucas was the star of the day reeling in six bass up to 40 pounds. Chris said he was pushing everyone out of the way whenever a fish was on. I think this kid is hooked on fishing forever now.

Craig Felice took out a Matt Pulley and Mike Stoner over the weekend and matt brought home a 35-pounder. Gerry, Chuck Lewandowski and Joe Sigmund (yes the Sigmund brothers are back) each had one over the weekend. Jason Palmer took out Lenny and Miranda on his center console and everyone came home with a bass all from the red tower.

Bayside Dave picked off a 43-inch and 44-inch trolling off Brigantine on Friday. Eli had a few bass over the week fishing on the Treemendous. John Hayes had two nice bass on Tuesday.

Bill Roesberg and his crew picked a total of 27 tog and sea bass over the weekend. He was calling Friday "black Friday" for all the black bass. There are a lot of short bass in the surf on plugs with the occasional keeper.

The weather looks fantastic for the weekend and beyond so get out there. Have a great week.
