Rev. Paul Scalia will speak at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21.
Scalia, the son of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, grew up in the diocese of Arlington, Virginia, attended the college of Holy Cross in Massachusetts, and then studied theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome.
Since his ordination in 1996 he has served as parochial vicar at several parishes and as pastor of St. John the Beloved parish in McLean, Virginia. He currently serves as the Episcopal vicar for clergy.
He has written for various publications and is a frequent speaker on matters of faith and doctrine. His first book, "That Nothing May Be Lost," was published in 2017.
