Captain Joe Fumo from Fish Finder Marine reports fishing went a little haywire this week with the southwest wind turning the water over and dropping the temperature 10 degrees overnight.

We did manage to catch fish, however we did not keep a lot.

I want to thank all of the members of the Elks Lodge who helped our veterans on the Fish Finder Sunday afternoon for their annual fishing trip. I always know when they are coming on the Island, first we hear the roars of the Harley Davidsons then the sirens of the fire and police vehicles.

They all managed to catch fish in spite of the bad weather conditions. Our Progressive Fluke Jackpot is $1,000 for a 2.21 flattie. As usual the tackle shop is loaded.
