CAPE MAY AIRPORT – The Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum will hold a 1940s Style Big Band Concert and Dance for the fourth year running. The dance will take place Saturday, Sept. 24 from 7 to 10 p.m. at historic Hangar #1. 

The night will feature live music by the 14-piece Big Band, Walt Wagner and the Serenaders as well as dance instruction by Tom Cupp at 6:30 p.m. There will be a catered dinner by Anthony and Cleopatra Caterers. Proceeds benefit restoration efforts at Historic Hangar #1.

In addition to the live music, guests will enjoy dance lessons and dancing in a setting unlike any other, an all wooden Navy aircraft hangar constructed during WWII. 1940s style dress is encouraged with prizes for “Best Dressed” and “Best Dance Couple.” Tickets are already selling fast. Individual tickets and full table sales are still available. Tickets are required, advanced purchase is encouraged.
