The West Cape May Environmental Commission will present a free pizza and family movie night 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2 at West Cape May Borough Hall, 732 Broadway.

The movie being shown is a beautifully filmed, empowering documentary that combines themes of a father’s love and support for this daughter with the importance and beauty of nature, according to commission staff.

A 13-year-old girl’s dreams take flight in the movie, which stars a golden eagle.

Free pizza will be offered at 6 pm. Before the movie, Dr. Trish Miller will give a kid-friendly presentation about the ecology, behavior, natural history and conservation of golden eagles, commission officials said.

Miller and her husband, Mike Lanzone, have studied eagles in eastern North America for over a decade.

The movie is rated G. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For information call 609-884-1005.
