LOWER TOWNSHIP — Renovations to the township Public Safety Building have entered the third phase, the Police Department announced Tuesday.

The second phase included the remodeling of the main lobby, where residents conduct business with police clerks or report a complaint with an officer.

The main lobby is back in its original location at the Public Safety building, located at 1389 Langley Road in Erma. The lobby can be accessed 24 hours a day, and all services that were available to the public in the former police lobby are once again available in the permanent one.

The medicine drop box has also been returned to this area.

The signage at the Public Safety Building has been changed, directing citizens to the new lobby.

The parking lot is under construction and is anticipated to be completed in about two weeks. For now, citizens will need to park in a temporary lot at Langley and Ranger roads, just east of the normal police parking lot.
