WILDWOOD CREST — The Police Department is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month through October.

Members of the department are wearing pink T-shirts under their uniforms and name tags featuring pink lettering and a ribbon.

United Uniforms supplied the name tags, and the North Wildwood Shirt Shop supplied the T-shirts. The Lunch with Lynch Foundation, headed by John Lynch, has been instrumental in supporting this cause.

As part of the effort, the department is accepting donations to the Love of Linda Cancer Foundation. Checks and money orders made out to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund can be dropped off at police headquarters at Cardinal Road and Pacific Avenue.

For more information, call the department at 609-522-2456.
