PUBLIC MEETING
THE CASINO PILOT LAW

Saturday, June 3, 2017, 10 a.m. – noon, Community Center, 42nd St.
Concerned about the State PILOT LAW (Payments by casinos in lieu of taxes), and the
REAL POSSIBILITY IT WILL INCREASE PROPERTY TAXES?
There are sharp disagreements about it among state, county, local officials and the public. How did this happen? What are the facts? Who’s protecting the taxpayers? What’s next?
COME TO THIS MEETING. It’s your opportunity to question two local lawmakers who have been involved
in this business and who will continue to be involved until the end of their terms on 12/31/17.
They are:

ASSEMBLYMAN CHRIS BROWN • ASSEMBLYMAN VINCE MAZZEO
They will also answer any questions on other statewide topics affecting local property taxes such as:
a new plan to fund public schools, a countywide property assessment process, pension system reform, etc.
ALL ARE WELCOME
Paid for by the Brigantine Taxpayers Association
