CRMC announces new medical staff officers
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Board of Trustees of Cape Regional Medical Center
have announced that Michael Boriss, D.O., FACC, has been elected president of
the medical staff. Serving with him is Richard Michner, M.D., vice
president/president elect; Thomas Barrett, M.D., FAAOS, secretary/treasurer;
Gene J. Braga, M.D., and Michael Maroldo, M.D., members at large.
Boriss has been a member of the medical staff since 1987. After receiving his
medical degree from the University of Health Science College of Osteopathic
Medicine in 1981, Boriss performed his graduate medical education in cardiology
and internal medicine at Kennedy Memorial Hospital University Medical Center,
Stratford, N.J. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of
Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiology, and critical care medicine.
Boriss is a partner at Regional Heart and Lung Associates located in Cape May
Court House, and serves on the Board of Trustees at Cape Regional Medical
Center.
Michner has been a member of the medical staff since 1984. After receiving his
medical degree from the University of Guadalajara in 1976, Michner completed his
graduate medical education in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt
Hospital in 1982. Michner is in private practice in Cape May Court House.
Barrett has been a member of the medical staff since 1999. He received his
medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of
Medicine in 1994 and completed his graduate medical education in Orthopedic
Surgery at Penn State Geisinger Health System in 1999. Barrett is board
certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Barrett is the principal partner of Cape
Orthopedics, in Cape May Court House.
Braga has been a member of the medical staff since 1989. He received his medical
degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1983 and completed his
graduate medical education at New York Medical College where he studied both
general surgery and urology in 1989. He is board certified in urology and is a
partner at Pagnani-Braga-Kimmel Urologic Assoc. in Cape May Court House and
Somers Point.
Maroldo joined the medical staff at Cape Regional Medical Center in 2001. He
received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in
1974 and completed his graduate medical education in internal medicine at
Christiana Care Health Services in 1976. He is a partner at Cape Health
Solutions in Cape May.
