Corzine appoints N. Wildwood’s Green to state board

NORTH WILDWOOD – Gov. Jon Corzine recently appointed North Wildwood resident Bill Green to the New Jersey State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Professional Counselor Examiners Committee, where he is the only rehabilitation counselor in the state to serve in this capacity. This committee oversees the licensing of professional and rehabilitation counselors in New Jersey; reviews the content and duration of courses of study offered by colleges and universities for advanced degrees in counseling and rehabilitation counseling; and reviews ethical complaints directed toward licensed New Jersey counselors. Green is an assistant professor at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, where he is the program coordinator of the MS in Rehabilitation Counseling Program at the Stratford campus. He is also a member of the North Wildwood Planning Board.
