are shown with the Gazette in Ireland on Sept. 25. They were there
to attend the Ryder Cup at the K Club. Great event, says the group,
but bad outcome. These former officials also would have liked to
have had other fellow council people with them, but are still
sensitive to the Sunset Laws.

 Ireland hopping
Kevin Whyte and Betsy Ware of Egg Harbor
Township attended the wedding of Whyte’s sister in Galway, Ireland.
They traveled by ferry to the Aran Islands and spent time biking,
hiking and sightseeing. They reported that entire island is nine
miles long and two miles wide and is mostly made of barren limestone
rock and small fields surrounded by stone walls. There are several
geological wonders on Inis Mor, including the wormhole and several
puffing holes, as well as miles and miles of limestone landscape
with some of the most spectacular cliff coastline in Europe. This
photo was taken at Inis Mor in the Aran Islands Sept. 5. In the
background are the remains of an old stone lighthouse. Whyte is from
Ireland.
