Twenty-five members of the First
Presbyterian Church of Ocean City left June 23 for a week
long mission trip to New Orleans, La. and took the Gazette
with them. The mission team helped residents in the Greater
New Orleans area in their efforts to recover from the
devastation of Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005. They
worked with the Recovery Ministry of Canal Street
Presbyterian Church in New Orleans. Pictured in the front

Building humanity A local group worked with Habitat for Humanity June 18-22 to rebuild a house in the 9th Ward in New Orleans, one of the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Katrina.
