Melissa and Nicki Cappolina of Beesley's Point took the Gazette
along with them on a trip to Ocean City, Maryland in May. The hotel
they stayed in had an ice rink inside.
Jim Finnegan took the Gazette with him on a recent trip to
Annapolis, Md.
Cathy and Jim Finnegan took the Gazette with them
when they went to visit Cathy’s brother and sister-in-law, John and
Fran Maberry, in Elkton, Md. and posed with the paper in front of a
fountain in the Christiana Mall in Delaware.
Kids rule this weekend
The Masker, Bridgers and Maxwell families traveled to Ocean City,
Md., for Easter and a “kids weekend.” Pictured from top left are

Lou and Sarah’s 13, and then
some
The family reunion of “Lou and Sarah’s 13” Aug. 28-30 in Ocean City,
Md. brought together the extended family of Louis and Sarah Rice,
who had 13 children. Each year since the first reunion in 2005, more
family members have participated. This year more than 60 people
attended, and The Current was there. The photograph was submitted by
Sallie A. Self-Stewart, one of the 13.
BFFs ring in the new year
These friends from the Salisbury University Class of 2006 gathered
for a mini-vacation in Maryland at the end of December to celebrate
2007. From left are Heather Nichols of Chestertown, Md.; Megan
Hildenberger of Great Mills, Md.; Jackie Hanusey of Galloway
Township, a reporter for The Current; and Alyssa Bernido of Mount
Airy, Md. They had an extended weekend of dancing, dining, movies,
ice skating, exercising, swimming, bowling and shopping before
ringing in the new year. They spent a few days in Ocean City, Md.,
where they picked up their matching sweatshirts and then headed to
Chestertown, where this picture was taken.
Folk festing

The Gazette traveled with Kirk Rohrer of Seaville to the
Junior National Young Leaders Conference Feb. 17-22. They went to
Philadelphia, Pa., where they visited the Constitution Center,
Independence Hall and the Benjamin Franklin Museum. They went to
Harpers Ferry, West Va., where they traced John Brown's Battle. They
went to Washington, DC, where they visited the White House, the
Capitol Building, the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian and the
Vietnam, Korean and Lincoln Memorials. They went to Baltimore, Md.,
where they visited the Maryland Science Center where they also spent
the night. The Gazette is pictured in front of the University of
Maryland, 4-H Conference Center, in Chevy Chase, Md.

The

A day at the
harbor
Dawson Kuhn of
Absecon visited Baltimore’s Inner Harbor in Maryland with his
parents in October. While there, they visited the National
Aquarium, which is seen in the background.
The
Gazette traveled to Baltimore, Md. to visit ESPN Zone, as well as
local shops and pubs. This lovely group of women consists of, from

The Gazette traveled to Ocean City, Md. Feb.
23-25, with the Upper Township Braves competition cheer squad for
the American Cheer & Dance Reach-the-Beach Competition. The Braves
came in first place in the category. They are national champions.
