MARGATE – A candidates forum sponsored by the Margate Business Coalition and moderated by the Cape May County League of Women Voters will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 at the Margate Performing Arts Center. All nine candidates have agreed to attend. Questions will be asked of the candidates, and they will give timed responses.
Members of the audience will be able to fill out index cards with a question for the candidates that night. Questions may also be dropped off prior to that date at Casel’s Supermarket. It will be the choice of the moderator to choose which questions to ask.
Residents will be able to hear what the candidates have to say before voting May 8.
The Margate Performing Arts Center is at the Eugene A. Tighe School with an entrance at Monmouth and Frontenac avenues.
