MARGATE – Mayor Vaughan Reale has made two appointments to the Margate Board of Education.
He re-appointed Dan Campbell, who will serve his second three-year term on the board. Campbell also represents Margate and the other sending school districts on the Atlantic City Board of Education.
Joanne Kulzer, an educator, parent and lifelong Margate resident, has been appointed to take the seat vacated by Barbara Perskie, who respectfully asked not to be reappointed to another term. Perskie served her community for 21 years as a member of the BOE and has spent the last few as board president. Kulzer will serve a three-year term.
Both Campbell and Kulzer will be sworn in at the school board’s annual reorganization meeting May 16. TOP
