MARGATE — The Holtzman Gallery at the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center, 501 N. Jerome Ave., features “Mysterious Boundaries,” a free exhibition of the original works of Linwood artist Barry Pisetzner, through May 5.
Pisetzner has been making art for more than 40 years. He began his professional career in Paris, working in the studio of artist Ruth Franken. Upon his return to the United States, he worked in art restoration, advertising art and set design, all while producing his own work. His first major show, in the early 1980s, included paintings and sculptures.
The gallery, located in the lobby of the Katz JCC, is open 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Any sales from the exhibition partially benefit the JCC.
