Margate Police

Police blotter information is supplied by local police departments and other law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

Sean R. Scanlon, 29, of Collings Lakes was arrested Sept. 18 by Officer Jennifer Queeney and charged with 10 counts of receiving stolen property. Judge Rosenberger affixed bail at $15,000 full cash and Scanlon was taken to the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility.

Marvin J. Bardales, 19, of Atlantic City was arrested Sept. 20 by Sergeant Jeffrey Lee and charged with tampering with public records, obstructing the administration of law, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a weapon by certain persons not to have weapons and an active NCIC warrant out of Atlantic County. Judge John Rosenberger affixed bail at $6,500 full cash and Bardales was taken to the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility.

Melissa L. Krout, 29, of Margate was arrested Sept. 25 by Officer Jennifer Queeney and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property. Judge John Rosenberger affixed bail at $15,000 full cash and Krout was taken to the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility.

Francisco Berdardino, 30, of Atlantic City was arrested Sept. 27 by Officers James Costa and Amy Maclean and charged with simple assault. Judge John Rosenberger authorized Berdardino to be released on his own recognizance.

Richard W. Carrick, 48, of Margate was arrested Oct. 17 by Officer Francis Marciante and charged with theft of moveable property and criminal mischief. He was released on a summons.

Peter J. Perri, 50, of Kew Gardens, New York was arrested Oct. 19 by Officer Christopher Taroncher and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was released on a summons to the custody of a friend.

Alan D. Rosen, 47, of Margate was arrested Oct 20 by Officer Joseph Kuchmek and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on a summons.

There were six warrant arrests during the reporting time period.
