MARGATE — Actor and comedian Tom Arnold and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester lead the lineup for this summer's entertainment series at the Milton & Betty Katz JCC.
The series kicks off July 12 with Blue Jupiter, an energetic blend of pop vocals, beatbox and jazzy a-cappella harmony that has garnered standing ovations in 40 states and around the world, according to a press release.
“Rock Baby Rock” July 19 will feature Lance Lipinsky performing several genres of music that have contributed to rock 'n' and roll. Lipinsky played Jerry Lewis in Chicago’s Tony Award-winning “Million Dollar Quartet.”
Arnold takes the stage July 26. Never scripted, Arnold pokes fun at his Midwest past, marital follies and more, and relates absurd Hollywood stories.
Manchester closes out the series Aug. 2. Her body of work as a singer and songwriter includes hits such as “Midnight Blue,” “Don’t Cry Out Loud” and “You Should Hear How She Talks About You.”
All shows start 7 p.m. in the JCC auditorium, 501 N. Jerome Ave.
Series tickets are $199 and include all four shows. Individual tickets are $50 for Blue Jupiter and “Rock Baby Rock”; Tom Arnold and Melissa Manchester tickets are $65.
