EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Egg Harbor Township-based law firm D’Arcy Johnson Day has made a pledge to donate $100,000 each year to area charities and sports teams throughout the course of the year, according to a company press release.

“D’Arcy Johnson Day’s commitment to the community has fueled the firm’s success,” said Steven Johnson, one of the firm’s partners.“Now, more than ever, our local community needs support, and we’re happy to pay it forward with a commitment to provide consistent financial assistance to worthy causes.”

One of the first beneficiaries of the firm’s $100,000 Promise was the Atlantic City Day Nursery, an independent, nonprofit daycare and preschool serving the working families of the Atlantic City area. The firm sponsored the school’s annual spring fundraiser earlier this month, the release stated.

Johnson stated that a wide range of charities and teams in South Jersey stand to benefit from the firm’s “$100,000 Promise.”

“The firm has partners residing in Linwood, Galloway, Absecon, Mays Landing, Northfield, and even Toms River, so we are interested in making a positive impact in as many communities as possible throughout the region.”
