A month-long coat drive at Marc Ludwig Allstate offices brought in 70 new coats and 30 gently used coats, which were donated to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Donations were collected at each of Ludwig Allstate’s three locations in Egg Harbor Township, Northfield and West Berlin.

“Our coat drive received outstanding support from the community and staff members,” said Marc Ludwig, exclusive agent with Allstate New Jersey. “We’re honored to spread the spirit of holiday giving and help children right here in our area.”

Most of the coats were donated by Operation Warm, a charity which since 1998 has provided brand-new winter coats to children in need, promoting greater self-confidence, peer acceptance, school attendance and wellness.

Operation Warm recently received a grant from the Allstate Foundation to support its mission of empowering children in poverty. The remaining coats were donated by Ludwig Allstate staff, clients and community members.
