EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Four Egg Harbor Township residents were arrested and charged with drug- and weapon-related offenses on Tuesday, April 18 after police allegedly found guns and approximately 20 pounds of marijuana in a home in the 300 block of Glenn Avenue and allege that they were running a marijuana production facility there.
Daemen Reese, Nicole Taurino- Reese, both 40, Breanne Coucoules, 26, and Brandon Reese, 21, were arrested and taken into custody.
Daemen Reese and Taurino-Reese were each charged with possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a firearm while in the course of committing a violation of a second-degree crime, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute 19.87 pounds of suspected marijuana in various forms, tampering with evidence and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

According to police, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department arrived at the Glenn Avenue home to investigate a complaint from Atlantic City Electric regarding the theft of electricity. An investigator from Atlantic City Electric Revenue Protection reported to police that she was investigating theft of electricity via a meter bypass at the residence.
Officers on scene who were assisting the electric company with the theft investigation detected the strong odor of raw marijuana coming from inside the house, according to a press release. Further investigation revealed evidence of a suspected marijuana production facility at the residence. A total of four subjects were located inside and taken into custody without incident.
A search warrant was authorized through the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the residence was cleared with the assistance of the Atlantic County Swat Team. A search of the residence was conducted by members of the Egg Harbor Township Criminal Investigation Bureau and New Jersey State Police. The search located an “elaborate marijuana production facility” in the basement of the home.
According to the release, approximately $2,700 in cash, a defaced Sig Sauer handgun, a large amount of drug paraphernalia and approximately 20 pounds of marijuana in various forms including edibles, waxes, oils, liquids and vegetation were seized.
All four of the below subjects were lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Additional charges for maintaining and operating a marijuana production facility are pending at this time.
