EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — The Egg Harbor Township School District offers an integrated half-day preschool program to typically developing 3- and 4-year-old children who live in the township and had their 3rd or 4th birthday on or before Oct. 1, 2017.

An additional morning class is being offered for the current school year at the Slaybaugh Primary School only, Monday-Friday. Transportation will not be provided.

Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the class is full. Families will be notified by phone. A birth certificate, current photo ID and three proofs of residency will be required by registration for those students who are selected. You will need to schedule your registration appointment as soon as you are called. Upon your selection, all information will come via mail.

If your child is not selected during the lottery process, they will be placed on a waiting list.

Due to budgetary constraints, the district will charge a fee for participation in the preschool lottery program. The fee will be $200 per month payable in advance each month. A $200 nonrefundable deposit will be due upon registration in the program, and it will be applied only to the June 2018 tuition.

Application forms are available at the main offices of the Swift, Slaybaugh and Davenport schools. Applications also are available on the Egg Harbor Township Schools website at eht.k12.nj.us. All applications are to be dropped off or mailed to the Davenport District Office at 2499 Spruce Ave., Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234 Attn: PS Lottery.
