EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — By the end of April, Atlantic County Girl Scout troops will have a more convenient place to get scouting gear and supplies as the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey council relocates its service center from Newfield in Gloucester County to Egg Harbor Township.

According to Emily Mullen, a marketing and communications specialist for the council, the Newfield location is closed as the council relocates its inventory and sets up its new location in the English Creek Shopping Center along Black Horse Pike.

“The new center will house Juliette's Closet (the Girl Scout retail shop) and a mid-size meeting space where we can host volunteer meetings, girl programs and more,” Mullen said.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24.
