The play was written by Timothy Allen McDonald, who brought Roald Dahl's "Willy Wonka" and "James and the Giant Peach" to the stage, according to organizers.
The story is about Stanley Lambchop, an ordinary 10-year-old living a normal life who dreams about traveling the world. One night the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls on top of him, and he wakes up the next morning as flat as a postcard.
The play is a whirlwind musical travelogue that follows Stanley as he is stamped, posted and canceled from Hollywood to France to Honolulu and beyond while he scours the globe for a solution to his problem.
Show time is 10:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier.
The theater company will also present a sensory-friendly performance of the show 1 p.m. at the Music Pier.
