Chartertech High School for the Performing Arts in Somers Point will host an open house 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29. All eighth-grade students or current high school students considering a transfer are invited to visit the school and see what Charter-Tech has to offer young artists.

The top 12 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, barrel racing, bull riding and more will compete at the 39th annual American Finals Rodeo in Atlantic City Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11 and 12 Boardwalk Hall.

ATLANTIC CITY – Bronx, N.Y., native and current Atlantic City resident Kia Payne will bring her original stage show "Beautiful Lies" to The Claridge Hotel’s Celebrity Theater Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29.

The Longport Volunteer Fire Department will host lunch with Santa at noon Sunday, Dec. 11 at the firehouse, 2301 Atlantic Ave. Santa will be available for pictures with the children, and there will be treats for all. Call 609-823-2731.

ATLANTIC CITY – The Downtown Oceanside Family Success Center, 3201 Atlantic Ave. will partner with Stockton University Noyes Arts Garage and Anchor Arts of Margate to host a free family art exhibit Thursday, Oct. 13. The exhibit will be held at the Noyes Arts Garage 5-7 p.m.
