From Aug. 27 to Sept. 2, Galloway Township police responded to 913 calls for service that resulted in 33 arrests, 16 calls for medical services, 13 disabled vehicles, five fires, 28 accidents, 93 tickets and four drunken-driving charges.

All people named are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Michael S. Arendt, 46, of Point Pleasant, was arrested Aug. 27 by Officer Dominic Fabrizio and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle.

Abdulkari I. Alsharid, 26, of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, was arrested Aug. 27 by Officer Brent Lopez and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Frank W. Schoepfer, 50, of Ventnor, was arrested Aug. 28 by Officer Mateusz Ryba and charged with DWI.

Troy T. Barber, 30, of Pleasantville, was arrested Aug. 28 by Officer Kenneth Snuffer and charged with hindering.

Jose A. Aponte, 31, of Galloway, was arrested Aug. 30 by Officer Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Jennifer M. Diluzio, 36, of Galloway, was arrested Aug. 30 by Capt. Christopher Doyle and charged with official misconduct and theft of movable property.

Sharel L. Taylor, 36, of Galloway, was arrested Aug. 31 by Sgt. 1st Class Ryan Goehringer and charged with obstructing administration of law.

William J. Smallwood, 27, of Port Republic, was arrested Aug. 31 by Officer Christian Magazzu and charged with DWI.

Teal F. Cohn, 28, of Absecon, was arrested Aug. 31 by Officer Brent Grunow and charged with DWI, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Casey J. Huddleston, 30, of Weymouth, was arrested Aug. 31 by Sgt. Kevin Welsh and charged with theft.

Paris D. Singleton, 26, of Philadelphia, was arrested Sept. 1 by Officer Fenil Gandhi and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Terron C. Hopkins, 31, of Pennsauken, was arrested Sept. 1 by Officer Mateusz Ryba and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Burglaries were reported on the 100 block of Old Republic Road and the 100 block of Shepherd Way.
