HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – Representatives from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey branch in Egg Harbor Township were on hand at Kneble’s Auto Service Center in Mays Landing on Monday, July 17 to accept a $500 donation from funds raised at the Hometown Celebration and Kneble’s Auto Service Center.

A Car Smash event at the annual Hometown Celebration in Lake Lenape Park on June 24 raised $360 of the funds. The event let participants pay a donation to take hammers, crowbars, various other tools and spray paint to two cars donated by Kneble’s. Fred Kneble, the owner of the business, serves as President of the Mays Landing Merchants Association which sponsors the annual event.

The remainder of the donation was contributed by Kneble’s Auto Service Center.
