Services for former Linwood City Councilman John Brick, 80, Saturday, Jan. 14 at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pleasantville.  

Former Linwood City Councilman John Brick, 80, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10 at his home in Linwood surrounded by his family.  A U.S. Navy veteran who proudly flew the American flag in his front yard every day, Brick served on Linwood City Council from 1993-2004.

He was active with the Northfield-Linwood Kiwanis Club and Epiphany Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife Clare and children, John Gary Brick, Kathy Sharpless, Jeffrey Brode (Tammy) and Nancy Cannizzaro; grandchildren, Jeffrey Brode, Jr. (Samantha), Dr. Wm. Michael Brode, Bethany Sharpless, Katie Brode, Rachel Brick, John Cannizzaro, Abigail Sharpless, Amanda Cannizzaro, Trista Watts (Eric) and Kayla Daley (Jon); great grandchildren, Rosaliee Brode, Marleigh McShane, Evan Daley and Theodore Brode; and brother Bruce Brick (Jo Ann).

A gathering of family and friends is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 306 S. Franklin Blvd. in Pleasantville with service to follow and burial at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor.
