The Northfield Police Department received 491calls for service Sept. 3 through Sept. 9. Police responded to 4 motor vehicle accidents, conducted 145 motor vehicle stops, made 2 warrant arrests, conducted 138 property checks and issued 84 summonses.

Corey T. Ferro, 23, of Blackwood was arrested Sept. 3 by Ptlm Geiger and Ptlm Griess for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alicia M. Gilliard, 35 of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Sept. 5 by Ptlm Lyons for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Emily S. Silver, 21, of Galloway was arrested by Ptlm Lyons for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ajea M. Hughes, 21 of Millville was arrested Sept. 6 by Det Sgt Buccafurni and Det Bach for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Keshonna C. Townsend, 21, of Atlantic City was arrested Sept. 6 by Det Sgt Buccafurni and Det Bach for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams.

Eric M. Poole, 29, of Northfield was arrested was arrested Sept. 8 by Det Sgt Buccafurni, Det Bentz and Det Bach for possession of marijuana over 50 grams (approximately 2 pounds), possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Egan, 30, of Pleasantville arrested Sept. 8 by Det Sgt Buccafurni, Det Bentz and Det Bach for possession of marijuana over 50 grams (approximately 2 pounds), possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Galloway Township couple were arrested Friday after the woman’s 2-year-old daughter was found to be so severely beaten that she displayed a “failure to thrive,” the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.
