The Northfield Police Department received 1,040 calls for service Oct. 8 through 21. Police responded to 7 motor vehicle accidents, conducted 274 motor vehicle stops, made 15 warrant arrests, conducted 319 property checks and issued 139 summonses.
Douglas W. Norman, 25, of Pleasantville, was arrested Oct. 10 by Patrolman Heller for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stephanni Batts, 26, of Pleasantville was arrested Oct. 14 by Patrolman Lyons for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Candice Kupcinski, 38, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Oct. 19 by Patrolman Kreuz for driving while intoxicated.
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — A Mays Landing man was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with driving while intoxicated, drug possession and driving without a license after causing a multi-car crash on Route 40 near New York Avenue, police said.
The Linwood Police Department would like to remind residents to lock their homes, vehicles and bicycles, as there has been an increase in burglaries and thefts.
