CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE –Robert Mullock and his family were recently honored by Atlantic Cape Community College as official dedicated the Cape May County Campus library in their name.

In an Oct. 31 ceremony, college officials renamed the library the Mullock Family Library and thanked Mullock family members for their contributions to student scholarships.

According to a statement, the Mullock family, owner the Cape May National Golf Club and the Historic Chalfonte in Cape May, has since 2005 hosted the foundation's Scramble "Fore" Scholarships golf tournament and has provided greens fees, dinner and event support.

Between 2005 and 2015, the tournament raised $379,918, of which $214,000 were awarded as scholarships, school officials said.

“The Mullock family has made it possible for so many students to have access to higher education at Atlantic Cape which might not have been possible without their generous contributions over the last 10 years,” said Jean McAlister, executive director of Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation.

The campus is located at 341 Court House-South Dennis Road in Cape May Court House. For more information, see or call 609-463-3960.
