CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE - Students in preschool through eighth-grade were recognized for embodying the Gospel value of gentleness during the month of March at Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School.

“Gentleness is defined as showing calmness, personal care, tenderness, and the love of Christ in meeting the needs of others,” said Principal Tom McGuire.

Students earning the award include: Colt Myland, Matthew Flynn, Jason Christopher, Daniel Christopher, Regan Capone, Myka Morris, Khushbu Pandya, Emma Vince, Jon Brasberger, Dustin Laricks, Adrianna Gray-Rivera, Matthew Moretti, Noah Grdinich, and Allison Welsh. They are shown with McGuire.

The Fruit of the Spirit awards are presented monthly to students who exhibit the attributes of a Christian life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, according to school officials.
