WOODBINE – A Pinelands summer short course is planned Thursday, July 27 at Stockton's Kramer Hall, in Hammonton, said Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky, chairman of the Pinelands Municipal Council.

The event will feature guided nature hikes, history and blueberry tours, a canoe trip on the Batsto River, a dragonfly walk, live music, and presentations on winemaking, butterflies, moths and the American Revolution, Pikolycky said.

The course is registered with the New Jersey Department of Education, and professional development credits are available to New Jersey teachers who attend, he said.
