WILDWOOD – An RV show is planned Oct. 21-23 at the Wildwoods Convention Center and will feature recreational vehicles from some of the state’s largest RV dealers including Dylan's RV Center, Driftwood RV Center, Whitehorse RV Center, Cross Roads Trailers, and Scott Motor Coach RV Center.

Admission is $10 per day. Parking is free. The show is open from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday.

Bonfire on the beach

NORTH WILDWOOD - Enjoy a bonfire on the beach with live entertainment from 6-10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1st and Surf avenues. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase.

Admission is $10; children under 12 are $2. Sponsored by the Anglesea Irish Society and the Greater Wildwood Jaycees.

Rain date is the Saturday, Oct. 29.

Wildwoods Boardwalk 5K Pumpkin Run

WILDWOOD – Spend a healthy, yet ghoulish morning, during the Wildwoods Boardwalk Pumpkin Run and Family Walk beginning with registration at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Wildwoods Convention Center.

The event offers a 5K run along with a 1 mile family walk, starting at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Race officials encourage participants to wear Halloween costumes to vie for the prizes in the best dressed categories of family, youth, infant, and best all around.

Proceeds benefit the elementary schools of the Wildwoods, and participants will receive a Pumpkin Run T-shirt.

Meet ‘Typhoid Mary’ at the tearoom

CAPE MAY – Learn more about Mary Mallon, better known as “Typhoid Mary,” a healthy carrier of typhoid fever in the early 1900s at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Carriage House Cafe & Tearoom at the Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St.

At the time, Mallon was quarantined, after investigators connected her to numerous deaths from the disease.

Cape May Stage presents 'Buyer and Cellar'

CAPE MAY - Cape May Stage will present the comedy "Buyer and Cellar," from 7:30-9:30 p.m., Oct. 19-21 and 27, at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse, 405 Lafayette St.

The play, by Jonathan Tolins, is the fictional account of a struggling actor in L.A. who takes a job working in the Malibu basement of a beloved megastar.

WILDWOODS – A Halloween house decorating competition runs through Oct. 27 for North Wildwood and West Wildwood residents.

4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

The Cape May County 4-H livestock program and the county Board of Agriculture presents its second 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays in October at Lehner's Farm & Nursery, 175 Route 47.

Activities include a 5-acre scare-free maze, hay rides, a tiny tykes hay maze, pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, petting zoo, scarecrow making and games. New games and activities include pumpkin bowling, ring toss, checkers and tic-tac-toe.

Corn maze admission is $5 per person or $20 for a family of five or more. Children under 2 are free. Those under 12 who wear a costume on Oct. 29 and 30 will be admitted free.
