CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The next workshop in the “Gardening by the Seasons” series is planned from 5:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7 and addresses the uses of herbs and their cultivation, and is presented by instructors with the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Agricultural and Resource Management program.
The presenter will be Jennifer Matthews, owner of Stone Circle Farm. Participants will learn the historic importance of herbs, how to grow herbs in a garden, how to preserve herbs, and the culinary and home uses for herbs. Also planned is a tea-tasting and attendees will blend their own tea to take home.
