ATLANTIC CITY - Cara Mund, Miss North Dakota was crowned Miss America a little more than a month ago and next week another crown will go to one of the talented women representing their state in the Ms Senior America Pageant.

The preliminary competition is Tuesday, Oct 17 and Wednesday, Oct 18 and finals are set for 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 in the Superstar Theater at Resorts International Hotel and Casino. The women will be judged in talent, evening ware and on stage question about their philosophy on life.

All of the women are over the age of 60. The pageant, started more than 25 years ago is a showcase for women to show there is a lot of life left after 60. The current Ms Senior America, Peggy Lee Brennan, is a former Broadway singer and dancer.

Tickets are $20 and available at the door.
