Atlantic County Life Chain

From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday Oct. 4, Atlantic County area Christians will line the sidewalks of Route 9 from Absecon to Linwood; Shore Road in Somers Point; Route 30 in Pomona and South Egg Harbor Road in Hammonton to form a “Life Chain.”

This stand of solidarity by Atlantic County area Christians will be made to communicate that abortion is gravely wrong and local churches oppose the killing of pre-born boys and girls, as well as the exploitation of their mothers by the abortion industry. Signs stating Abortion Kills Children will be passed out to all who attend.

Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful, non-confrontational demonstration. Christians all over the country gather to stand along the street holding signs expressing opposition to abortion. The National Life Chain was founded in 1987 and more than 8,000 North American chains have been built.

Life Chain signs may be picked up on the day of the Life Chain at the following places: Assumption Church, Pomona; Mainland Assembly of God, Linwood; St. Joseph’s Church, Somers Point; St. Bernadette’s Church, Northfield and St. Martin De Porres Church, Hammonton.
