Thanks to everyone who made fundraiser a success

To the editor:

This past Sunday was the Dennis Foreman Mini-Golf Fundraiser benefitting our local 13-year-old friend with Wilms Tumor (pediatric kidney cancer).

This was an event geared for kids to help Dennis. I want to wholeheartedly thank all golfers, volunteers and donors who made it possible: Northfield Girl Scout Troop 14632, Northfield Community School National Junior Honor Society, Mack & Manco Pizza and Congo Falls Golf Course on the Ocean City Boardwalk (along with Greate Bay Country Club).

Without a moment's hesitation, these organizations generously gave their time, products and facility. All proceeds, more than $2,200, go to the Foreman family.

We're with you all the way, Dennis.
