Somers Point Police Blotter – Edition of Nov. 11, 2009

Police Blotter information is supplied by local police departments and other law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Somers Point Police Department responded to 1,323 calls for service in October. They included 56 alarms, 12 transports, 26 assists to other agencies, 12 arrests for other departments, 57 motor vehicle accidents, 36 domestic violence investigations and 11 driving while intoxicated arrests.

Patrick N. Rohrman, 21, of Cape May Court House was arrested Nov. 3 by Ptl. Charles Somers and charged with shoplifting from Kmart.

Ashley Lenay Davis, 18, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 3 by Ptl. Nelson Denan and charged with shoplifting from ShopRite.

Daniel F. Stewart, 38, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 3 by Ptl. Nicholas Wagner and charged with disorderly conduct.

Joelle Marie Palermo, 18, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Nov. 6 by Ptl. Jeffrey E. Mazer and charged with shoplifting from Kmart.

Diane Bernadette Sellers, 35, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 6 by Detective Sgt. Robert Somers and charged with burglary and theft.

Jesse Allen Thomas, 21, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Nov. 6 by Ptl. Shawn McKelvey and charged with disorderly conduct.

There were four warrant arrests.

Sheriff’s Report

Robert E. Speller, 46, of Somers Point was arrested Oct. 27 in Atlantic City by Sheriff’s Officer William Ade on a nonsupport charge.
