Police Blotter news is supplied by the Galloway Township Police Department and other law enforcement agencies. All persons named are assumed innocent until proven guilty.
During the week of Oct. 25 through Oct. 31 the Galloway Township Police Department responded to 753 calls for service. Officers arrested 32 adults and three juveniles, and issued 71 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 10 domestic complaints, 92 medical assists and 13 fire calls.
Anthony Randazzo, 21, of Clementon, Camden County was arrested Oct. 27 by Ptl. William Kline and charged with driving while intoxicated following the report of an erratic driver on Aloe Street.
Alex J. Cuevas, 18, of Pemberton, Burlington County; and Alfredo Vira, 22, of Mt. Vernon, Wash. were arrested Oct. 27 by Ptl. Patrick Neal and charged with hindering apprehension following the report of a suspicious person on Father Keis Drive.
Jonathan M. Stretch, 30, of Hamilton Township was arrested Oct. 29 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a car stop on Jimmie Leeds Road.
Hanbler Pereya-Matos, 26, of Mays Landing was arrested Oct. 30 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with disorderly conduct following an incident on Pitney Road.
Michael Blocker, 45, of Burlington, Burlington County was arrested Oct. 30 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a car stop on Aloe Street.
James E. Crilley, 27, of Absecon was arrested Oct. 31 by Ptl. Robert Bauer and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief following an incident on Lost Pine Way.
Ronald S. Kreps, 57, of Galloway Township was arrested Nov. 1 by Ptl. Theresa Payne and charged with driving while intoxicated following a report of an erratic driver on Smithville Boulevard.
Michael Mejia, 19, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 3 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a car stop on Route 30.
Ptl. Patrick Neal arrested two men, following a traffic stop Nov. 5 on Great Creek Road. Yely Nunez-Jimenez, 24, of Pleasantville was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated; and Germain Chavez, 28, of Atlantic City was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and hindering apprehension.
Juvenile Report
Two boys, one 15 and the other 17, were charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct after a fight on an Absegami High School bus.
Sheriff’s Report
Stephen M. Chambers, 48, of Galloway Township was arrested by Sheriff’s Officer Jonathan Nieves for nonsupport.
Prosecutor’s Report
An 18-year-old Galloway Township man was given 18 months probation after breaking into 12 motor vehicles on Aug. 4 and Aug. 5. According to Prosecutor Ted Housel, Superior Court Judge James L. Jackson passed sentence Monday, Nov. 9. The man was also ordered to attend outpatient substance abuse treatment, submit to periodic urine monitoring, pay restitution, submit to DNA typing and pay $375 in penalties.
