No injuries as car crashes into storefront

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – No one was injured when a vehicle drove into the store front of Atlantic Medical Supply at 314 Chris Gaupp Drive Wednesday morning.

John Munton, 79, of Brigantine was parking a 1998 Subaru Forrester in the lot at 9:27 a.m. Nov. 18 when he drove too far.

Ruth Munton, 76, was also in the car. Both were able to exit the vehicle with assistance through the rear hatch, according to police, and sustained no injures in the collision.

Ptl. Rich Barber of the Galloway Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the cause of the incident.

Also assisting at the scene were the Galloway Township Ambulance Squad, Pomona Volunteer Fire Company and Galloway Township Code Enforcement.
