Absecon Shores blessed by a garden angel

To the editor:

As you approach the entrance to Absecon Shores, there’s a garden on the left side of Turner Avenue.

From early spring until late fall, the garden is in bloom. Even holiday decorations adorn the fence in the background.

As a resident of “the Shores,” and one who passes this spot daily, I have to offer my sincere thanks to the person responsible for keeping it weed free and attractive. The quiet garden angel is there working in heat, chilly wind and sometimes even rain.

I’m grateful to her for years of tireless work and commitment on her part. She’s someone I am thankful for all year and especially during the holiday time.

Eileen Kusmisik is a giving and faithful lady who constantly gives to her community. Thank you, Eileen. Your efforts are appreciated.
