Christmas Concert
The Mainland Choral Society will present Saint-Saens’ “Christmas Oratorio” and other seasonal music with strings at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at the Christ Episcopal Church on Shore Road and Meyran Avenue. Wine and cheese event
The Education Foundation for the Performing Arts is hosting a Red Carpet
Wine and Cheese Extravaganza 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 at the Renault Winery Resort, 72 N. Bremen Ave., Egg Harbor City. Tickets are $25. There will be hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, live performances by Woody and Anita Merlot, the “Living Bar.” Sponsorship packages are available. Green Advisory Committee meeting
The Somers Point Green Advisory Committee will hold a meeting 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 in City Hall, 1 W. New Jersey Ave. Regular business in connection with the certification of the city as a Sustainable Jersey Community will be conducted.

Fire Company pancake breakfast
The Somers Point Volunteer Fire Company 2 holds an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m. to noon the second Sunday of every month at the firehouse on New Jersey Avenue and Centre Street. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 9. Menu includes coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, eggs, pancakes, bacon or sausage, home fries and bread. Call (609) 653-6503 for takeout.
