Somers Point Police Blotter, Edition of Nov. 25, 2009

Police blotter information is supplied by local and other law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.


Jesse B. Talis, 30, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 16 by Ptl. Brian Ott and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Frances E. Longinotti, 86, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 16 by Ptl. D. Bryan and charged with obstruction.

Robert Dwayne Campbell, 40, of Mays Landing was arrested Nov. 16 by Ptl. R. Gray and charged with shoplifting at ShopRite, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, namely heroin, and possession of a hypodermic needle. He was remanded to the Atlantic County jail with bail set at $6,973.

William Willie Patterson, 22, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 16 by Ptl. C. Somers and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Chanell Nicole Pitt, 27, of Ocean City was arrested Nov. 17 by Capt. P. Gaffney and charged with credit card theft and two counts of theft by deception.

Tashema Kim Johnson, 26, of Atlantic City was arrested Nov. 17 by Ptl. H. Dill and charged with shoplifting at Kmart and on an outstanding warrant. She was remanded to the Atlantic County jail.

Aqueelah R. Evans, 30, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 17 by Det. L. Gandy and charged with possession of crack cocaine, distribution of crack cocaine and distribution of same in a school zone. She was remanded to the Atlantic County jail with bail set at $100,000.

There were seven warrant arrests.
