Assumption Regional names school board members

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – Assumption Regional Catholic School announced the members of its newly reformed school board Monday, Nov. 23.

Board members are Mike Collins, Patrick Eigbe, Keith Hartman, Kathleen Moreland, Paul Orecchia, Mike Sheeran, Lisa Traynor, Kevin Walls and Ray Williams of Galloway Township; Jonathan Bell and Cheryl Rundio of Egg Harbor City; Sandra Regenye of Egg Harbor Township; Renee Hall of Port Republic; Nick Marcantonio of Absecon; and the pastor, Rev. Michael J. Matveenko, and school Principal Mary Ellen Schurtz.

The Diocese of Camden has directed that new boards be formed at all of its schools. Board members participate in a day-long training prior to being commissioned, and will receive ongoing training as well.

Assumption’s board consists of parents, parishioners and community members.
