Santa Claus to arrive at Christmas tree lighting ceremony

The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at City Hall.

This annual event is co-sponsored by the City of Brigantine, Brigantine Chamber of Commerce, Brigantine PTA and TD Bank.

Santa Claus will arrive during the evening with gifts for all Brigantine Elementary School youngsters. Parents are requested to accompany children from pre-school up to and including fourth grade. In addition to the presents, refreshments will be served.

The North School Choir, under the direction of Jason Reed, and the Bob Ferris Band will provide musical entertainment during the evening.

Mayor Phil Guenther will oversee the lighting of the City of Brigantine’s Christmas tree.
